Delhi 2014
Scrabble Association of Delhi is pleased to announce the national tournament- GAIL Scrabble Cup 2014 to 11-12th October 2014 (Sat & Sun) at Hotel Best Western Taurus, Mahipalpur, New Delhi.
  • The facilities will be air conditioned.
  • Boards and Timers shall have to be brought by the participants.
  • Two categories- Premier and Open. Premier division a rating of 1200 & above.Option of migration to Premier same as the Bayers Nationals.
    Eight games on Day 1 and seven games on Day 2.
  • The prizes for Premier division shall be for top ten rankers as follows : Rs. 15000, Rs. 12500, Rs. 10000, Rs. 7500, Rs. 5000, Rs. 3600, Rs. 3000, Rs. 2400, Rs. 1800 & Rs. 1200
  • The prizes for Open division shall be for top five rankers as follows : Rs. 5000, Rs. 4000, Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000 & Rs. 1000
  • Dictionary shall be CSW12. Adjudication via Zyzzyva 2.2.3 or its latest release at the time of tournament.
  • The format shall be Australian Draw no repeats for day 1 and King of the Hill for Day 2. AuPair shall be the software used for the draws.
  • Entry fee Rs. 1300/- . For SAI members and school students, discounted entry fee of Rs. 1200/-
  • Shri Ashok Bhandarkar has kindly consented to be the Tournament Director.
